Job Description

If you are taking a year out before going to university, fundraising could be for you! Gain brilliant work experience to add to your UCAS application, meet new people, be part of a team, raise much needed funds for the charity Shelter AND earn £9.00 to £12.00 per hour, what more could you ask for?!

Homelessness is a major problem in the UK, but it is hard to know just how many people are homeless in the UK. Many are those whom many people would not even realise were homeless such as sofa-surfers, or someone staying in a hostel. These people are sometimes known as the invisible homeless.

Shelter are there to help all homeless people, providing housing and legal advice, as well as running helplines and much more.

Be part of this amazing charity and do your bit to help the UK's homeless by joining our door to door fundraising teams across London. You get to fundraise in a different location across London daily, with regular hours and fantastic weekly pay (£9.00-£12.00ph).

The job requires you to use your charisma and enthusiasm to go door to door speaking to people about Shelter and seeing if they will support this incredible cause by signing up for a monthly direct debit to the charity.

If all this still isn't enough, extra benefits include:

• Training given by Shelter from experienced fundraisers so you get to know all about the charity.
