Job Description
You will primarily work in the Residential Home providing guidance, support and engagement to the residents in a variety of settings including the classroom, home, on site and during off site activities.
- Contribute to the development of the young people through the provision of a healthy lifestyle, a variety of appropriate stimulating activities and the example of a consistent and caring adult role model.
- Support the individuals towards managing their own behaviours and becoming as independent as possible within their own capabilities by using the skills and approved approaches learnt during the training provided.
- Assist the individuals with all personal care needs as outlined in their Individual Pupil Care Plan (IPCP); eating, bathing, toileting, cleaning teeth, dressing, etc. as appropriate.
- Career Progression for suitable candidates
- Training and Support to complete CWDC Induction followed by NVQ Level 3
- Days; 38 hours/week on 3 week rotating shift basis including weekends – 7:30 am to 2:30pm and 2:00 pm to 10:00pm.
Due to current legislation you need to be aged 18 or over to work in our Adult Homes and aged 23 or over to work at our Upper School.
All applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check.
