Job Description

Our client is currently recruiting for experienced customer service consultants to join their expanding company.

They pride themselves on excellent customer service and believe in an ethical approach their customers, suppliers and partners. Our clients customer support area is a busy multi-skilled function, combining the need to provide 1st line support from technical issues resolution within all aspects of customer support, often within the same call.

We are seeking people who thrive under pressure and take delight in the service they are providing.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Answering inbound calls in a busy pressurised environment.
  • To provide support and advice to resolve customers enquiries over the phone.
  • To resolve 1st line technical support issues - and to escalate when required.
  • To ensure all customers calls are dealt with swiftly, professionally, and result in the resolution to a satisfactory conclusion of the customer.

Professional & Personal Requirements:

  • Experience within customer service with at least 2 years in a phone-based helpdesk/customer service environment.
  • Good understanding of technology and software products
  • Ability to learn the detail of a comprehensive software product and advise solutions to existing customers or prospective customers.
  • Experience of the SME (small/medium business) sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering professional 'over the phone' advice to business customer.
  • Knowledge of tourism, and especially hospitality an advantage.
